Licensing services carry out a regime of inspections and enforcement exercises both during normal office hours and late at night or at weekends involving premises and activities that hold or require licences for example:

• Liquor licensing
• Amusement Permits
• Gaming and Gambling
• Public and private hire licenses
• Taxi ranks
• Public entertainment licenses
• Motile Licensing Functionality

Phase one includes

To enable officers to undertake more routine inspections on a regular basis without the need to visit the office the Intelligent Mobile solution provides:

• Real time premise and service request search and display
• Real time search and maintenance of action diary and reminders
• Real time search and maintenance of prosecutions data
• Capture digital images and upload them directly into database to be stored with inspection/action
• Generation of electronic documents including warning, advice letters and notices pre-populated with system data for review and optional signature capture in the field.
